  •  So many anger management issues, (8+ / 0-)

and those murderers shouldn't be allowed near a gun in the first place.

Let's make tests for anger control part of requirements for gun ownership. Heh. I wish!

At all times, day by day, we have to continue fighting for freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom from fear, and freedom from want—for these are things that must be gained in peace as well as in war. - Eleanor Roosevelt

    •  I like it! Not sure how one can test for anger mgt (0+ / 0-)

anger management, I sorta doubt it's even possible on an efficient, wide-scale basis, but I like the idea of requiring it to get a (mandatory) gun-license. Maybe a test for depression, too?

It'd be interesting to see the data if even one US jurisdiction required such a measure (and/or many others that have been proposed -- mandatory insurance, trigger-locks, safe storage, liability including mandatory fines for accidental discharge, training, licensing, registration, etc.).
