you need to identify a problem to fix it. She's saying, OK let's focus on this problem. Day light is the best thing here. That is the message I think.

Iran is not even breaking any nuclear laws or treaties. This sanction embargo is a right wing conservative Israel and even joined by extreme christian elements attempt to promote a war. Hello Dick Cheney. This is one he wants.

What about all the other sanctions that are hurting the regular Iranian people?  Nobody talks about that, like those are OK, but just one more is wrong.

    •  "Real men go to Tehran" — since back in 2003 (9+ / 0-)
It's a matter of public record that this war with Iraq is largely the brainchild of a group of neoconservative intellectuals, who view it as a pilot project. In August a British official close to the Bush team told Newsweek: ''Everyone wants to go to Baghdad. Real men want to go to Tehran.'' In February 2003, according to Ha'aretz, an Israeli newspaper, Under Secretary of State John Bolton told Israeli officials that after defeating Iraq the United States would ''deal with'' Iran, Syria and North Korea.

What should the progressive Democratic base do about Democrats who, it turns out, share John Bolton's aims and are going all out to bring the neocons' plans to fruition?

of the NPT, and most of the world wants them to.

Iran was breaking the treaty back in the 90's.  They've pretty much come clean about that.

It's not unreasonable for the IAEA to seek to get them into compliance with the modern version of the treaty - but then, it's not unreasonable for Iran to suspect that the US only wants inspections so they can gauge the thickness of the bunkers prior to bombing.
