      government corruption and cronyism is a larger problem. The Feds have gained too  much power through excessive regulation (IRS, EPA, etc.) and that ultimately leads to abuse. Opponents of the party in power are selectively targeted while friends of those in power receive favorable treatment. Also, excessive regulation often has a negative economic impact.
