    Costco policy is to refuse admission to all non-members, especially homeless ones with small children in tow. They probably have special admonitions against people gathering in the warmth of the main entrance if they don't plan to shop. Up to and probably including physical removal from premises with threat of police action for repeat offenders.

    Perhaps all Costco customers who are moved by social injustice would do well to keep these policies in mind when planning their next shop.

      to indicate the woman even attempted to go in.  Maybe she did, maybe not.  As I said, the parking lot was huge, filled to the max so it was a long walk to the entrance.  

      I never approached anyone working in the store.  

      But be clear, I do not want to blame Costco.  Costco is one of the few big box stores who pays good wages with benefits.  THAT to me is a positive because if all the retail chains did so, there would be less people needing to beg for help.
