    my yard looks quite brown at the moment, but most of that is because everything got frozen down to the roots back last november, and nothing's budding yet. hard freezes: yet another lovely side effect of drought. no moisture in the soil means no fog, means harder freezes.

      Just say no to lawns.

      Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is now 400ppm. That is "Climate Cluster Chaos". (hat tip to JeffW for CCC)

        be they in parks, sports fields, or a small patch for one's kids to play on in your backyard. lawns as landscaping features that noone sits on, plays on, or does anything with are abominations.

        there are distinctions.
