Yeah! Do NOT name the black stallion "Diablo".

If I ran this circus, things would be DIFFERENT!

name is "sans peur" - meaning "without fear") would jump at anything.  so, i used to call him a little "chickensh*t" (with great affection.  i would laugh and explain that UNTIL a friend looked at him and grinned and called him "braveheart!"

he changed immediately into this brave strong boy (who suppresses his "fears" not to let me know now!).

this was after i told her the story of a horse at the barn where sani was bred.  the horse was one of the owner's show horses - and he was a real handful.

anne had a psychic/animal communicator from england come out to read her horses and when she was at another area of the barn, the grooms asked the psychic to "take a look at THIS one" (saying with dismissive tones - they HATED working with the horse).

the communicator put her hand on him and her eyes got huge.  she exclaimed, "HE thinks his name is SH*THEAD!"

the grooms winced - they stopped calling him that and he immediately became a pleasure to work with.

creatures become what we expect them to be - whether they be children, horses, dogs, cats, birds, etc...

EdriesShop Is it kind? is it true? is it necessary?
