    that our holding that seat depends on how we do with the Vietnamese. If the Dem running there can do as well as Obama did in 2012 in Garden Grove and Westminster, then they should be able to win despite Huntington Beach.

    The district should have included more of Anaheim as well as Buena Park, Cypress, and Stanton, so that it would have been more dominated by Hispanics and Asians. But, for some reason that I don't understand, the mapmakers decided to insert half of Huntington Beach.

      The likely candidate (I believe) is County Supervisor Janet Nguyen.
