  •  I wonder (none)
Will Rove's nickname in prison still be turd blossom?

I hope his cell mate is a 300 lb. liberal axe-murderer.

    •  What do you have against... (3.40)
...300 lb. liberal axe murderers? Can you imagine being stuck in a cell with that megalomaniac slab of lard with glasses? Every time you sit down to take a crap he starts telling you how he used to be the most powerful man in the world, but now he has to hold his ankles in the shower to get a chit for a second helping of spam?

I'd much rather his cell mate was a 300-pound serial rapist who thinks Karl has a 'right pretty mouth' and thinks lube is for sissies.

      •  LOL (none)
Spam is too good for Rove.

I know if I were his cell mate I would personally recreate Guantanamo interrogation sessions with him... He's fat enough to be his own pyramid.

        •  For some reason your comment... (none)
...made me envision Rove in a cheerleader's outfit, and now I must go wash out my eyes with undiluted Stoli.

Oh, and Mickey who thinks my comment was unproductive? I think people who 'rate and run' are gutless sacks of shit, oh, to put it more nicely, unproductive. I don't see a comment of any variety by you in this diary. So make a big L on your forehead and go back to smokin' your Rocky Mountain High, 'k?

I dont see anything funny making prison jokes about inmates being raped, though a simple immature mind just might, I guess I used to when I was 15.But I'm not 15 anymore, and comments such as yours are offensive and childish and unbecoming any serious progressive discussions.  As for you calling me a gutless sack of shit, well it just proves my point about the maturity level of your mind.

It has been noticed that Karma is a bitch.
            •  You're exactly right... (none)
mental age is 14, so you win this one.

You also came back and spoke your mind, so clearly you are not a gutless sack of shit. Of course I had to call you one to get you to posts, but hey, I'm feeling magnanimous tonight.

I'd still like to see Karlie skuh-WEEEL lahk a pig.

              Sue me.

            •  Wow (none)
I knew that comment would bring the diary police out of the shadows, but that was more lecture than most. Let's just agree on the fact that no one asked you to decide what was funny to two people other than yourself, ok?

If tongue-in-cheek comments like the preceeding are so offensive to you, I would strongly advise you to lock yourself in a dark room immediately, away from other humans, and definitely stay away from the TV, computer, radio, or any other form of sensory entertainment, ok?

I just want you to be comfortable:)

              •  police this (none)
No I didnt think it was funny and thats what rating comments is all about. I dont find it funny that   the US has either the first or second highest prison population in the world, often for bullshit laws and unjust sentences, and rape is a too often occurence in many prisons. People being comfortable allows them to remain blissfully ignorant, and allows for things like the patriot act, and abu ghraib , and Iraq, and to make jokes about prison sexual assaults.  Just my two cents.
                •  I'm offended (none)
By your "police this" reply. That is something I might have said when I was 9 or 10, but not now. That degrades the important work that police all over the world do every day, and I would appreciate it if you could stop saying such things.

And you implying that we are "blissfully ignorant" about the facts of Abu Ghraib or American prisons only proves my point that you can't see the forest for the trees. Because someone can make a joke about something, doesn't mean they don't have a grasp on the seriousness of the issue (ala The Daily Show). Troll rating people because you don't share their sense of humor says more about you than it does us for making the original comments.

Have a great day in seriousland.

                  •  I must repectfully (none)
decline to get in a battle of wits with a defenseless person    :)
                    •  Right (none)
Because you've shown so much wit, yourself.

Seems a rather childish jab for someone who is so much more "mature" than the rest of us, doesn't it? Don't lower yourself to our level - you might end up doing something dangerous like laughing, or eating dry toast... GASP!!

                      Best wishes to you.

BTW, I'm sure someone of your overwhelming intellect already knew this, but the word "wit" has a secondary meaning that makes your insanely serious responses here, even more ironic:

The ability to perceive and express in an ingeniously humorous manner the relationship between seemingly incongruous or disparate things.

                      Have a great day.

    •  The real punishment for Bush, Rove, Cheney, et al. (4.00)
That everyone reponsible for lying/maneuvering the U.S. into the war against Iraq has all their wealth confiscated, and that money is sent to Iraq for reconstruction. Bush, Cheney, Rove, etc. must then be made to live for the rest of their lives... not in prison, but in public housing, their income to derive from their Social Security stipend, and not a dime more.
