    -- they NEVER give the Prize to anyone who challenges Western hegemonic interests -- but the nomination is nice to have anyway.

      going through the list I was suprised to see that npo prize was given out  in 1939-43 (understandable), 1948, 1955-6, 1966-67 and 1972.

      I think that NOT awarding the prize is about the biggest wake up call to the world that they can do.
