...seems more like something to scrape off the bottom of my shoe!

(and the only way to be on FB is with your actual name, and they get a lot of your personal info? Think I'll keep scrapin')

their real name these days.  It's a lot different than when it first went up.

Enacting our agenda requires winning elections. Oh, and me on Facebook and Twitter.

any more, that ya hafta givem a real name connected to a real phone number or address or something- I only saw it in passing having no interest in joining...

I'm irked that it's such a shitpile because it's so pervasive and widespread, there's lots of folks, businesses and organizations that use it as their primary portal to the public.

        They bug me. A lot.

Every now and then there's a pop-up pointing out that my profile isn't complete.  Well, it's not only incomplete.  My name isn't right and neither is my birthdate.  (And ads are aimed at my false age...)

They want to know where I was born and where I live now, what schools I've gone to and more.  They guess (based on where my "friends" are and what schools they went to) and try to get me to say yes or no to their suggestions.

It's entirely possible to ignore their nagging.  I also ignore family members who try to get me to register as their relative.

The opposite of pro is con. So what's the opposite of progress?
