    for China to make concessions on environmental standards or other protectionist Pacific Rim countries to remove tariffs on American goods, if they know any particular Congressman can add back protections for a connected industry in his district?  

    No TPP still leaves in place trade with countries with lesser labor or environmental standards, so I see the deal as lacking the downsides detractors claim or the upsides its proponents support.  Leaving us with the notion that TPA is really just inter-branch dick measuring.  Reid got rid of the filibuster, he has to give the other Senators something.

    Difficult, difficult, lemon difficult.
