Does anyone know why the President supports this? He has been pretty silent on this. It seems to go against the grain. Enlighten me.

If I said anything that offended anyone, you probably deserved it.

Possible that big finance does too.

      The President likes big business.

I tried to go online to find a similar bear head...but when I searched “Big Bear Head” it gave me a San Diego craigslist ad entitled “Big Bear needs some quick head now” and then I just decided to never go on the internet again.--Jenny Lawson

Still confused though. It's out of character for him. It's not like he needs their support next election.

that supporting big business is supporting Dems.

Like the NSA issue, Obama is just wrong on some things

Warren lost the rank of progressive when she voted for the farm bill in 2013

but I'm seeing Obama as the go-between for aspiring politicians and Big Money in the future, as the traditional party fundraising mechanisms wane in influence.

He'll have a nice platinum parachute, and I'm guessing that's why he's doing this.

However, it might be just the opposite:  it might be that they're using a stick rather than a carrot and pointing a big gun of financial instability directly at the U.S. economy and saying "Nice little country ya got there, Mr. President. Sure would be a shame if something happened to it."
