    •  And I bet my grin is at least as big... (7+ / 0-)

I am so thrilled that RM brought this story to light and that SK and others followed through.  I have despised Christie for quite some time (not on a personal level, I am not from NJ, don't know the man).   I think his behavior is boorish and he is an out and out bully.  But until this scandal, the media, including many on NBC were not only giving him a pass on his obnoxious and rude treatment of constituents, they were essentially praising "tells it like it is."  Same with dems who suddenly found him OK cuz he hugged the president.  I absolutely hated the way the media across the bbs elevated bullying of the public.  WRONG WRONG WRONG

Seriously, I am so sick of hearing pundits saying how appealing Christie's style was. As a woman, as a teacher, if some jerk like Christie used his size and his position to intimidate, denigrate and demean me, I would seriously consider bringing charges. I thought he was threatening to people, and that is not OK.  Citizens have every right to question elected leaders.

Why any thinking person, why any progressive, would ever find a Christie type to be appealing, I do not nor will ever understand.

Watching the blowhard bully being taken down is giving me immense pleasure.

      •  Well said. Bullying is a no no. (0+ / 0-)

The best thing is that if Christie goes down in a spectacular fashion, and if the whole story of his intimidation tactics is plastered all over tv and newspapers for weeks, it will be in some way the biggest campaign against bullying that America has ever seen.

Thank you Chris Christie. You wanted to have a national impact. You will sir. Oh yes you will.
