Do we even have a president? If there's an issue or cause that might incur even the slightest RW, centrist or power elite wrath, it's like it doesn't even exist as far as he's concerned. No Sweat Obama. Three more years and you can play all the celebrity golf you like.

He's dealing with a nation of savage Orcs, after all.

What other nation is actively raining down murder upon the people of other nations all around the world?

        •  Health care reform (5+ / 0-)

Which I think is going to create a paradigm shift in the possibility of USians gaining human rights.

Obviously the PPACA will change from what it is now, but I think it will cause a social chain reaction.

Also, the rare use of diplomacy with Syria and Iran. I think he learned his lesson from the disastrous clusterfuck of Libya.

Where is the downside in stopping premature executions?

I hope that the quality of debate will improve,
but I fear we will remain Democrats.

The Feds can murder citizens, too, of course. But murder porn is a right the states enjoy.

of state's rights, then why are the appeals heard in the federal court?

SCOTUS could stop this practice with a stroke of the pen. After all, there are few clearer 5th Amendment issues than this one.

I hope that the quality of debate will improve,

Nothing that the USA needed, other than displacing a RW President, was given the nation by Mr.Obama.

The Republicans are opposed to America; Mr. Obama is the epitome of irrelevance to America.

…by the filth the NSA holds on all elected officials.

He works in the possible arenas where he can. The government has been on full lockdown and dead in the water since January 2011. The whole world knows this.

    •  well (0+ / 0-)

it's strictly a dispute between the federal judiciary and the state government, and until the feds issue a clear order the state isn't technically in defiance of anything.

      •  Federalists never had a better friend than Obama (0+ / 0-)

Along with banksters, big oil, coal & gas, PhRMA, health insurers, defense contractors, etc. He's probably the best Republican president since Ike.

Nonsense with this weak federal branch/president silliness. He's CHOOSING to not act in these cases. That's his entire shtick: speak loudly and don't do a damn thing more than you absolutely have to. Don't want to upset anyone important he might want to play golf with post-presidency!
