Was founded, right across from the state that is doing this kind of thing on a regular basis and working social justice issues in that backward state.  Just tonight, I spent it in the ER, there was a man in shackles next to me.  Seems he'd been "stopped while black walking" and taken in. Even though he was on the way back to the halfway house that he had a legitimate pass from by the time he got to the jail, he was "teched" i.e. nailed on a technicality and so spent the rest of the day in jail, until the prison officials could come get him......only to find he had an illeostomy bag and needed supplies.  But, they couldn't go back to the halfway house for him to get his own, they had to bring him to the ER, get the supplies and then watch him while he changed his bag out.  I SURE he loves cops now!  And yes, this was in Missouri.
