    It's inconceivable that they were unfulfilled in any way.  Maybe the 24/7 orgasm from a life that was one giant power trip physically broke their brains?

      and are miserable, then you blame yourself for your lack of happiness and sense of misery.  This actually makes a lot more sense to me.

      Money doesn't make you happy beyond a certain level- it is just a chase for more and more money.  Same with power.  I have several friends in wheelchairs for various reasons- young people in their 20s and 30s who have bad and good days but overall are some of the happier folks I know.  

      So there is a lesson for the day- cultivate happiness and recognize it when it is happening.  And if you are not happy, work on it.  Make a change in your life if you can,  share your problems and hopes with friends, look for the small beauty in a day and try to live through the bad times in the hope for a better day in the future.

      The idea that if you're wealthy you can't be unfulfilled in any way is pretty absurd.
