    It was tough to lose to those guys, but they are a heck of a football team.  Great defense and very good offense.

      seemed to have chosen for brains as well as for athleticism.  Their ability for each to judge their individual position in the complete action on the field and to think on their feet was impressive.  If I were to describe the team, I would call them (relatively) small, athletic (of course) but I would add, bright.

      It's pretty clear that the winner of the NFC would have the better chance of winning it all.

      The Seahawks got better because they had to play the 49ers three times to make it to the big dance. You guys got a great team. And truth be told, S.F. is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I could live there in a heartbeat.

        and I think Seattle is one gorgeous city.  The San Francisco Bay and the Puget Sound are both spectacular.

        I agree on the quality of the competition between those two teams.  I think they pushed each other to the limit and they were both better for it.
