Not so very long ago, I got blocked, because I suggested that the GOP - and now TP too - are the logical successors for the Nazis of WWII.

They use the Big LIE - say a lie loud enough, often enough, and make it big enough and people will begin to believe it.

They use scare tactics, misdirection, and are the lowest form of life.  Look at what they did to John Kerry.  There was no truth to what they said about the "swift boats" and yet a decorated vet was chased out of the race for POTUS.  We can all go on and on with examples and the like, but we're all preaching to the choir.

And no, I cannot understand why DEMs and Progressives do not stand up and tell them, to their faces, that they are full of ... road apples!  I loved the debate when Joe Biden told Paul Ryan, in no uncertain terms, that he was full of excrement.

This should be done more often.

And yes, I imagine some GOP flack will pick up their check, right after verbally bullying us on this comment page, by telling us that we're all wrong ...

    And so it goes!

Sometimes, you need a sensa uma!

    •  Their latest dirty trick: steal our contributions (0+ / 0-)

A number of strong (thus, threatening to the GOP) Democratic candidates for office, such as Alex Sink running for the seat vacated by the late Bill Young in Clearwater, Florida, have had their campaign web sites "cloned" by the RNCC (they are not even trying to HIDE this one) with the donation pages collecting for the Republicans, not for the candidate (the "fine print" that most people skim over says "donate TO DEFEAT this candidate" but they do NOT have an emphasis on "to defeat") the donor wishes to support.  This is not only a potential violation of the few election laws we have LEFT after Roberts et al, it is very close to being commercial FRAUD, no different from collecting a mortgage payment, allegedly on behalf of the bank, and stealing the money yourself.

So before making a contribution on a candidate's web site, be sure you really ARE on the candidate's web site.  Fortunately, Google's phishing alert, if you have it, has begun flagging some of these phony sites as phishing sites.  Keep reporting any you find to Google at and report them also to the US-CERT (, or U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team (the latter may be able to initiate criminal prosecution).
