I don't know what the future would bring, with such an intrusive technology.  I would not want to wear this technology in a corporate work setting--not if I can help it.  I would certainly want to find positions in companies that don't use this technology.  But who knows how quickly this technology may catch on with big corporations, or even smaller businesses?

If I am really forced to choose between wearing this technology for working in a company, or ending up homeless and starving, I will wear this technology.  Maslow's hierarchy of needs.  I certainly would not show much loyalty to the company--or at least hide my contempt for such a company and sing hollow praises to them.  I may not even buy their products or services.  I may just perform the least amount of work necessary to remain on the company payroll, not rock any boats.  But I certainly would not enthusiastically propose any changes, initiatives or improvements on my own for the company's benefit.  The company wants a monkey, then I'll play the monkey for them.  Bide my time until I can find something better....If there is something better.

There is an old political joke from the Soviet Union, where the authoritarian leadership pretended to pay their workers.  The workers would say, "So long as the bosses pretend to pay us, we will pretend to work."

I could ask the same question of you.  What are you going to do when the only jobs available require you to wear such a thing?  Will you really give up a warm house/apartment and having enough food to eat in order to live on the streets?
