    He lived a quiet life focusing on music, family, and the promotion of peace and understanding. Shied away from self-promotion for 90 years. My guess is that a giant statue is not something he'd have wanted. Perhaps his wife should be asked first if this is a good idea.

      Let's open it up for national debate! Pete was an international force, not simply a regional one. His ideals are ones that the whole country should be reminded of - on a regular basis.

      If you agree, sign the petition. If not, don't. No problem. This is a very important discussion to be had.
