  •  Proposed legislation, the short version: (8+ / 0-)

    If I can't discriminate I'm not free.

    •  And no state passing such a law will have the (5+ / 0-)

ability to make policy and make its employees use and enforce that policy on any subject. This law eliminates the ability of the state to do so in any instance in which an employee touching on the issue in question claims a religious right to refuse to carry that policy into effect, or to do anything which might help that policy along. I guess Brownback wants an ungovernable state, or one which they will find a way that only Christians of the right stripe can work for. .

      •  Brownback will absolutely support (0+ / 0-)

the movement of employing only those who agree with him. It would violate his 'religious freedom' to be forced to give government jobs to someone who doesn't share his own twisted ultra fundamentalism.

    •  Maybe a question on State employment apps: (0+ / 0-)

How about this language on applications for government jobs:

Do you strongly object to Kansans having equal opportunity under law?
      [] No,  [] Yes.

If "No" proceed to next question.  If "Yes" deposit application in trash and exit the premises.
