    •  Nobody does hand-wringing and pearl-clutching (11+ / 0-)

      better than the Democrats.

As Kos has pointed out repeatedly:  When we vote, we win.  All the Koch money will be wasted if we are able to do what McAuliffe did in Virginia.  We have to make the mid term electorate look like the general electorate.

There are reports that the Democrats are mounting the largest data-driven turnout ever, expounding on the Obama 2012 model.  So, I am encouraged.  Money is not going to be the savior for the GOP that they think it is.

Constant - over and over and over - radio ads (and some tv ads) tying Dem Senators Hagan and Landrieu to Obama's "lie" that if we like our health plans, we can keep it".

"Tell Senator [Hagan / Landrieu] to let us keep our health care plans."

They must have polling that shows that moves voters - otherwise why have that as a principal theme of so many ads this early in the season.

Harry Reid and Obama need to permit Senate Dems to vote on Landrieu's bill to fix the "if you like your plan, you can keep it" misstatement by Obama.

I don't want Obama's ego to cost us some Senate seats we might otherwise win.  They need to let Dem Senators vote on that Landrieu bill - and politically take the wind out of that argument and those ads.

Those Dem Senators are not running away from the ACA - but they need some political distance between themselves and Obama's screwup misstatement.  Let them vote on the Landrieu "fix" to that.

      •  Yes, they have been dumping on Hagan (2+ / 0-)

but the fact remains that Hagan's GOP opposition has a TON of negatives that she can use against them. I feel pretty good about Hagan's chances for reelection as long as she doesn't screw up and come out against raising the minimum wage.

Election Day is Nov 4th, 2014 It's time for the Undo button on the 2010 Election.

      •  Yes the same ads against Gary Peters in MI... (0+ / 0-)

They are running the 'Obama Lie' non-stop in MI as well against Gary Peters who is not a very strong candidate.
