is in Steele City, Nebraska, at the Nebraska-Kansas border, so the Northern Leg crosses the whole state of Nebraska from north-to-south.  The developer has proposed a new route which detours around the Sand Hills to deflect the original objections.  The new route appears to still be within the geographic extent of the aquifer.

In Nebraska, there are ongoing lawsuits about the legality of the eminent domain authority transfer by the state legislature thru the governor to the developer.

The eminent trial lawyer who represents landowners in that case opposing the pipeline, is David Domina, our presumptive nominee for the open NE Senate seat in 2014.
