    "Don't be a stranger"

with d/t as an abbreviation for don't and "=" representing "be" ... but it's a stretch.

If only six are titles, I think we've got them.

thinking too much like a physicist.   d/t is not speed, but just d on t.    You got it.

      What about 2a?

      •  oh, I didn't even get that (2+ / 0-)

        "on" part. Of course.

I'm stumped at 2a -- "big-ass strange" comes to mind, but even if that were a thing, it wouldn't fit alphabetically.

jumbled Strange or mixed Strange.    Too many possibilities.

I may have gotten a little too sneaky here, and looking at the clue more carefully now I'm not as fond of it as I was. (I'm thinking the verb tense of the first word is a shade off.)

If you folks don't solve it by tomorrow morning I'll post the answer. But I think it is solveable if you use two hints I've already provided even though you may not have noticed.

One hint is the numbering pattern I used. There is a logic to it, and once you see what the logic is that will give you a good start on getting to the answer.

The other hint is even more helpful: I mentioned  the answer in one of my comments.

Actually there are two more hints I've already provided.

Hint 3: When you folks had solved four of the title Catch Phrases I said there were two titles left to solve (or three, depending on how you counted).

Well, you've come up with six titles so far. And there's only one puzzle left. That means the remaining answer can either be considered a title or can be considered something else.

Hint 4: If you noticed, some letters in the puzzles were capitalized and some weren't. The T in sTeal, for instance; and the A (but not the s) in steven Aurd. Again, once you see the pattern that provides a big hint.
