    Thank you so much.
My day will end tomorrow when I talk to my older brother whose call I missed today.
For 47 years we`ve had to communicate from afar, but when we did connect it was as if our conversations kept off of yesterday`s.
I personally tried to distance myself from him but only for his sake & not mine.
He held a very high position in international affairs & I did not want my lifestyle & political beliefs interfere in any way with his position in international geopolitics..
When he found out about this, he assured me that as brothers we came first & screw what anybody would/could do to change that.
He retired a few years ago as consul to the UN in the United Nations building in New York with the Canadian Mission after having been head of the Bank Of North African States which included Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Morocco & Tunisia, for five years, & was based in Tunis.
I remember in 1967 sending him off on his career out of Dorval International Airport in Montreal on his way to Mali where he`d write to me about Bamako & Timbuktu & his life at the station in Bobo Dioulasso, & the great stuff one could smoke that got one twisted that he was going to send to me..
I did have to disabuse him of that idea as he had no idea of the international ramifications of so doing.

All this to simply tell you that I appreciate your wishes for my day that will end with my talking with my brother.
I did talk to my younger brother who also spent 30 years in Africa & will be visiting me next week from his snowbird lair in Yuma where he spends 6 months of the year away from the cold of the Great White North.
I shall message you about the topic upthread & go from there. Good night

I`m already against the next war.
