  •  Other issues???? (5+ / 0-)

Wake me when she condescends to address any of them or maybe you've been invited to one of her 6 and 7 figure closed door dinners where the right kind of people get to know where she stands on the issues or maybe they're just telling her where to stand on the issues.

The great is the enemy of the good. We need your vote.

I'm from the Elizabeth Warren wing of the Democratic Party

    •  Check back in a couple years when the (0+ / 0-)

campaign starts. I'm guessing she'll be saying something then. (Whether she sticks by those promises, of course, is different, but all we have to go on from anyone is their word until s/he gets the chance to act.)

We can look at the voting record and ignore campaign promises which are worthless

you wait until the fight is over, one guy is left standing. And that's how you know who won.

Obama's voting record in the Senate was to the left of his campaign promises, and far, far to the left of how he's governed. It was also to the left of HRC's, admirably so at times. But it turned out to be a terrible predictor.

Obama voted for things which showed him to be an unreliable representative of the left.

This is why we need to get someone like Sherrod Brown into the race so we do not have the 2008 choice of two poor candidates

you wait until the fight is over, one guy is left standing. And that's how you know who won.

        •  She hasn't been Senator for quite some time. (0+ / 0-)

And she has witnessed how a Dem President works/can't work with this Congress and these tools that she will possibly inherit. She has also seen, from a different vantage point, what direction she wants to take the country (for good or ill) and what might need to be done to get there. If you don't think she has become a different politician since she was in the Senate--and you may be right, don't get me wrong--then you aren't allowing for her to have learned from the last (by then) 7+ years. That seems an unreasonable charge to make against her/anyone without proof. It was a long time ago that these records of behavior were put down; I'm hopeful she's gotten "better", but as I said above, we'll see.
