Have you contacted that source to tell them they're "actually not correct," or are you just here to defend Chris Christie, as you did yesterday?

Your excerpt.  "...address the committee later this month" and "look forward to hearing from him at that time" is by no stretch an assertion that the Christie administration did not order staff to ignore subpoenas.  Note in fact that the subpoenas are not even addressed.  Nor is this a vehement denial.  Indeed it is not a denial at all.

Christie's in Illinois today to fund raise.  The GOP gubernatorial aspirants all have refused to appear with him.  If you book a flight this instant, you can listen to Governor Christie speak in Chicago and have your pick of front row seats.

    •  I only defend accuracy. (0+ / 0-)

The members of the administration asked to speak on the Sandy aid issue were not subpoenaed.  They were "invited".  See Senator Gordon's own words.

You are mixing apples and oranges.   Former members of Christie's staff are moving to quash Bridgegate subpoenas based upon Fifth Amendment grounds, pursuant to the advice of their own attorneys.

There is enough of a story here that you don't need to exaggerate or make stuff up to make someone stop to read it.

      •  PS: This is defending Christie? (0+ / 0-)
I find it hard to believe that even Christie would order the cones set to screw up traffic and then use a State helicopter to get his jollies by flying over the mess.

Everyone knows he used the helicopter to attend a secret Republican puppy eating breakfast, anyhow.

        Give me a break.

      •  The diarist faithfully reported what (0+ / 0-)

was posted on a particular site.

Absent a second source, the diarist has now retracted, but bear in mind that as in most instances, the absence of evidence is not yet evidence of absence.  There are likely plenty more revelations coming 'round the mountain from the Garden State.

Of course certain Christie fans among us won't like most of them, is my guess.

    •  Apology accepted. (0+ / 0-)

      •  It may be quite premature for you (0+ / 0-)

to dance down I-95 in a victory celebration.

I believe the Governor may not be the Governor for very long.

It's Christie and his crew who owe the apology.  You might want to contact them about this.  They could manage a reply or two in between cone relocations on the GW Bridge.

        •  I celebrate the truth. (0+ / 0-)

I couldn't care less about Christie.
