We have had it good in this county for the last 2 decades.  The last supervisor was a saint.  I live in Oneco so I expect to have to line up in the parking lot at the Elections Supervisor Office to get to vote.  I am only a couple miles from there.

The Republicans aren't going to hang on to state offices this time around.  Demographics are against that with half of the state trending Democrat.  This has to do with local politics.  This area is also more blue then it was 5 years ago.  St. Pete flipped to a Democrat mayor for the first time since 1970's and there is a battle going on for FL-13 and Alex Sink is the favorite to win.

This isn't going to do much good because medical marijuana is on the ballot in the fall.  I have grand kids here in SCF and there is a lot of discussion going on about voting.  My kids are registered and have already voted in elections.  Young adults are going to be motivated because they know this is the first step in stopping the miss guided war on drugs.

Maybe this will be taken to court.  I am waiting for the purge to come next.
