My question: who will pay for this catastrophe?

I don't want to pay for it.

we all pay, but I'd say the poorer you are, the more disproportionately a price you pay. For example, a person in Indonesia or Bangladesh is much more likely to pay with his/her life than a person in Slovenia or New Jersey.

Well, NJ will probably get more and bigger Sandys. So too will Indonesia and Bangladesh.

However, the poverty and vulnerability of S/SE Asians will probably mean they pay less in cash.

The Sauds, the Kochs and lots of other $billionaire families should pay, since they've profited the most off the cause and interfere the most with the solutions.

But I expect it will be the people of NJ and their cohort who will pay for most of it, if anyone does.
