Bookmarked the tar sands comment link. I will comment asap. I want to work on it a little. Not just some random comment.

I've been busy. Right now the New Jersey/New York City, spectra gas pipeline hearings are about to be heard by the Appeals Court in DC.

Oral arguments against the pipeline were supposed to start today, but it was a blizzard!

Like God is telling the Judges "Say No, To spectra,xl pipeline, tar sands, and to big energy too!"

(They do call storms, "acts of God")
    .

Federal Government Closed/oral arguments against spectra pipeline case postponed
September 16 2012 premier of Occupy The Pipeline's new hit song, Occupy The Pipeline Playlist.

Spectra natural gas transportation pipeline is another Monster. As bad as xl pipeline. But spectra hasn't even been a blip on the media.

I only found out about it because I read nj.com and then Jersey City Mayor Healy was fighting spectra, and then I found Occupy the Pipeline in NYC Videos.

I'm from Bayonne. Most of my friends are in Jersey City and Manhattan. Right where spectra wants to run this pipeline. And when I say friends, I mean the kind of people that one can count on for help. (I guess that's why I love Kossacks too). ♥Kossacks♥

I'm fighting spectra for my friends and for ♥For My Grandfather Michael Murphy. He worked on the Central Railroad; (in Jersey City), 100 years ago. Unloading box cars with a big hook. He and his fellow workers, sweltered in the summer and froze in the winter!

Why should he have had to work so hard, for very little money, and these rich fossil fuel barons be able to put my friends and communities in danger? No Way!

The spectra pipeline is expected to pump 800 million cubic feet of gas a day, starting in Linden, NJ (Bayway Refinery). Eventually making its way to Manhattan.

    •  ps I grew up in northern nj, (0+ / 0-)

      they can't fool me.

We used to drive past Linden (Bayway Refinery), to down the shore back in the fifties, then they built the Verrazano bridge.

You can smell Bayway Refinery at least five miles away upon approaching the area. It looks like hell on earth. Much the same as tar sands does.

spectra is not turning the rest of northern nj into Linden, they can forget about that!

And they plan to turn the entire East Coast (and the entire country) into Linden, if we let them get their way. Pipelines in every state.

I saw it on their website. No link, I'm not advertising it for them to spread their lies. google spectra gas.
