    The chance of a real event with real deaths goes up by an order of magnitude after something like this.

      It's horrifying. For the vast majority of students, this will just be a drill. But even there them, this occupies a part of their brain throughout their school day -- that someone, maybe some loner, or weird guy (it always seems to be guys, so far), will suddenly show up like a horror-movie character. To suggest this is not the most conducive learning environment is an understatement.
