  •  When Corker lied he did two things: (9+ / 0-)

    1.  He perjured himself
    2.  He violated his fiduciary responsibility to his constituency

Corker and his ilk are behind, and funding the anti union campaign. Former Sen. Jesse Helms ran anti-union campaigns right out of his Senate office.

That's one reason I am asking that the finances be revealed.

"Perjury" is lying under oath and a "fiduciary duty" is an agent's obligation to safeguard property entrusted to it for the benefit of a third party.

What Corker did was wrong, but confusing the issue by misusing legal terminology it isn't helpful.

      •  okay, good point, then: (0+ / 0-)

        1.  He is guilty of liable with the intent to deceive
        2.  He violated his oath to protect his constituents by failing to tell the truth

      •  What I'm hoping, ggrzw (0+ / 0-)

is that Corker and his cronies are skirting the Landrum-Griffin act by covertly supporting anti-union activity and not filing the required  reports.
