  •  This is a good diary, it may save someone's life (15+ / 0-)

People have a right to protest under the first amendment, not trying to stop anyone from voicing their opinion through protest. But if you go inside a pipe, you don't know if there's enough air inside, if there's welding fumes, or what. The other thing I might add is don't get close to equipment if it's running, because machines have blind spots. I saw pictures of Darryl Hannah running up to a machine to stop it, the machine was lifting some wooden mats. Those mats are heavy, if they had slipped  they could have killed her. And don't climb up on machines either, steel is slippery, and if it has oil, or mud on it you'll be on the ground before you know it. I'm not picking on anyone, protest is guaranteed by the Constitution. I just don't want to see any person get hit by a machine, or fall 10 feet in a preventable accident.

Where are all the jobs, Boehner?

    •  Saving someone's life is precisely my intent (6+ / 0-)

      in writing this diary.

I first became concerned upon hearing of a pipeline protest  in Texas about a year or two ago with a pipeline entry.

Then I saw the Amy Goodman report last week which did not acknowledge the lunacy of the act of Christopher Wahmhoff or ward off others off from carrying out similar conduct.

I would like to know what Foundations, if any, are funding Michigan Coalition Against Tar Sands to see if they will take responsibility over what organizational actions are being funded when MCATS fosters someone to enter a pipeline in civil disobedience through felony conduct.

      •  are you taking responsibilty (0+ / 1-)

for shilling for the eco-terrorst carbon barons?

they are doing far more harm than the brave resisters

        who funds you?

      •  Oh I See ... (0+ / 0-)

It's OK for you to question the funding of those groups bravely resisting the assault on the planet by the greedy carbon merchants and their government lackeys. But it is NOT OK to ask you the same questions, even though this is part of your DKos bio:

Environmental consultant and expert witness working for citizen and neighborhood groups, unions, attorneys and local gov't on air/water/waste pollution, toxics substances, community, environment and natural resource protection.
        Hypocrisy much?
