    Hah!  That might be true for wimpy peninsular locations but not for Tallahassee

    Actually most of the time even in the panhandle what Lenny says is true.  The rainy weather in July and August really moderates the heat.  The hot spells mostly happen if we get a real dry period in June.

    However the FSU students think they have moved to hell on earth climate wise.  The weather in Miami is like a tropical island.  Doesn't vary all that much day to night or season to season.  

    I hear comments like

    'It is freezing cold first thing in the morning and then really hot in the afternoon.  I don't know what clothes to wear.'

    You would think they had moved to Wyoming or something.
