    party, as long as they can keep the people divided on social issues. And if the people ever figure this out, not to worry because $$$$$ (private corporations) still control the vote-counting process.

      Money has always had the same amount of power and corruption. So if it was always a lost cause then how did
      1) labor unions get powerful?
      2) progressives get elected?

        At some point in history it wasn't a lost cause. At some point in history people decided "why not try?"

        Which leaves the question "why not try again?"

        They had to let a few peons make some chump change to get that done. Maybe something like that can happen again. But that would again only amount to a little temporary chump change (i.e. until the interests of the rich are served) for the working class.
