    Because there have been plenty of people insist that he's a progressive hero. Maybe not so much now, but they were here.

    If knowledge is power and power corrupts, does that mean that knowledge corrupts?

      I don't "know" very many people here. I only "know" the persona they present.

      I didn't spend a whole lot of time reading debates over who was or wasn't a progressive hero since I didn't think any of the likely candidates qualified.

      As always, bourgeois politicians are only as "progressive" as they're forced to be.

      Nothing human is alien to me.

      Lots of, erm, personas to review, who had this annoying tendency to try to disavow Obama's "progressive" cred before the 2012 election, though. Now that he's in his second term, though, you'll start seeing plenty of folk trying to resurrect it as a general meme. It's really intended for Mrs. Clinton, though, once she "formally declares", too. I think they may have already started claiming it outright already about her....

      This all started with "what the Republicans did to language".
