The whole plan needs to be compared - not just the premiums.

Someone with an illness like hers should be very interested in not only OOP costs, but annual and lifetime caps.

With the people out there who are refusing to even look at the exchange because they hate Obama so much, and the Tennessee VW workers who are so brainwashed that they can't see what's good for them, it doesn't surprise me one bit that they can find people like this to do these ads.

This woman just didn't get far enough into her illness with her old plan to see how much she'll benefit with the new plan.

Money should be treated like any other controlled substance; if you can't use it responsibly then you don't get to use it.

but without Obamacare, she would have been forced to continue her existing insurance, since her leukemia would have made her uninsurable if she wanted to switch. If her insurer dropped the plan she had, she'd be SOL for the rest of her life.

Why is it that so many Americans are so short sighted? They only see what's right in front of their noses, and fail to look down the road even a little bit.

        selfishness / greed

Which every-single human being is hardwired for. even the saints like "joan of ark", " Mother Teresa", "Knights of the round table"

Those who are not wired for selfishness, do not live long to spread their genes, due to being taken advantage of by the selfish people around them who will prey on them.

Instinct driven   think "boiling pot" vs "slowly boiling pot".

        "right now" vs "long term"

I am odd,  so I think long term.

If everyone runs one way, I usually run another.
