My lists come out in a sort of stream on consciousness, no scheme or plan whatsoever.

Congrats on the PT person! Sounds like someone who really listens and thinks about what will work for you. More than one doctor has suggested yoga or some other gentle exercise might help. Do you do yoga at all?

Your hot tub area sounds fantastic! Imagine being surrounded by roses while relaxing away the muscle aches. Heaven!

Here's a shot of our pond since we had the new patio put in - this was just last summer. That's where I sit and relax most of the summer. No roses but the lavender shrub smells great! Maybe I could just install jets in the pond! ;)

Watch out or I'll go get my shovel and unload plant divisions on you!

    •  Lavender is wonderful in so many ways. (8+ / 0-)

A less usual use is I keep a mesh bag of dried lavender flowers in the car to squeeze now and then if the car is smelling funky for whatever reason!

My lavender gets leggy after 5-10 years, even after pruning, so I've started replacing it gradually. Also the thyme. It just seems to get too old. However, it grows from seed quite readily - I had a project last year growing herbs for reception favors for my daughter's wedding, 175 of them! (lavender, rosemary, thyme, oregano, sage) and in 6 months they were 4" pot size, so it's going to be quite economical to have lavenders and others going for replacement. I didn't use all the wedding herbs, and they are sitting in gallon pots to overwinter right now.

What a lovely spot to sit that is. The pond is such a refuge for critters.

Yoga. A lot of physical therapy exercises are the same movements as yoga. I know, because I used to do yoga a lot. Some yoga poses would be horrible for my condition, but pretty much all the stretching exercises are yoga positions or variations.
