    And not only do we like watching bad guys, actors love playing them---as you would say, the chance to live out the fantasy of things they wouldn't dream of doing, plus the challenge of making folks hate you because they believe your character, there's a feeling of power in that I think.

      To bring a moral character to life the actor must carefully recreate what is expected.  It has to conform to what is and what should be and walk to the line of not being so perfect as to be unbelievable.  

      TO play a "good" or "normal' characters relies on the ability to reflect to the viewer a version of what they are; to play a "villain" is the chance to play, with impunity, what could be.
