    The union (UAW) is arguing for a new vote, not the company (VW).

    But the company (VW) does seem to want to set up a "workers council" like they have in Germany, and here in the US, it's being argued that they would need to have a union shop to do that.

    VW does not seem at all hostile toward having a union at this plant.

    So why are GOP politicians getting involved?  Because they hate unions.

      I guess that unionization goes quite a ways up the corporate dipstick at VW. A company official seemed to be talking from a worker's standpoint about the company's expansion decisions.

      If I ran this circus, things would be DIFFERENT!
