But those marginally informed vote too.  And it's hurting us.

Talked to a friend who runs the cardiology department of a major hospital who totally did not understand how SS works.  She talked about her account.  I told her she did not have an account per se stuffed with money somewhere, that it was a pay as you go program and had to explain that to her.  Die hard "conservative," as she calls herself.  Isn't even aware that when her party succeeds (hopefully not) at some future date to wipe out SS and Medicare, that she is going to be SOL.  Hires, manages and maintains a staff of 50+.  Unbelievable.  But keep pulling for those Rs though they'll screw you six ways to sunday.

The GOP will destroy anything they can't own.

who say that they support the Republican Party. I gather that your friend, now, has a decent, livable wage. I have an acquaintance who lives virtually hand to mouth, is single and only holds a per diem job, with no benefits. She is a staunch conservative, detests the president, because he is biracial, thinks the Republicans have a great group of people vying for the 2016 presidency and wants this country to invade Syria, Russia and Iran, because war equals jobs? She has never voted for a Democrat, as they give "stuff" to "loafers." However, she is on Commonwealth Care, subsidized by Mass Health, gets SNAP, and has a child who is marginally employed and, also, gets government aid. Go figure.
