    got passed would have been impressive. As many above have said, instead she sat back until the business community let her know what a disaster the bill would be.  Practical but not in the least impressive

      She has someone on her staff keeping her abreast of the activities of the legislature. This person tells her when the vote is scheduled. Brewer goes to the vote, give every legislator who supports or votes for the bill the stink eye and then vetoes the thing before the ink is dry.

      Bonus points for mocking each one of them individually and them campaigning against them in the next election.

      That would impress me. Anything less means she had somehow needed advice, which speaks volumes about her character.

      I'd like to see Obama do this the next time the house schedules a "repeal Obamacare" vote. Just stand there and stare at them arms crossed with a disapproving nodding of the head. Get it on camera.
