... and I came back to comment after thinking about it for awhile.  I generally enjoy your posts, even when you write about things that I disagree with.  I think you are an educator at heart, and I have learned a lot from you.  While I think the video warranted a flag of some sort, it did illustrate some valuable lessons.

Youtube took the vid down at some between last night and now.  Seems it wasn't only people here who took issue with it.

    •  I think that was an automatic removal (2+ / 0-)

You tube has thousands and thousands of videos of animals being shot under much worse conditions. I'd think once a vid reaches a crucial threshold it's removed. Here are 71K https://www.youtube.com/...

The animal rights people have made a crusade of the vid, claiming the state of Wyoming is investigating, (when actually the vid is from Russia) and asking people to email the state of Wyo. Animal rights folks hate Wyoming.

Notice the death threats or calls for death in the comments above?

... to the bickering here at times, & I skipped most of the comments when I saw the direction things were heading.  But threats or calls for violence are surely a site violation, and I suggest reporting them to admin.  You can send the links to the the help desk using the confidential communication option or report through kosmail.
