OK, 8 years, 2006 seems to be when it came about.

Washington RCW48.43.065 allows for no individual health care provider, religiously sponsored carrier, or health care facility be required by law or contract in any circumstances to participate in the provision of or payment for a specific service if they object to so doing for reason of conscience or religion.

Food processed to be nothing more than simple starches with two dozen flavorings and stabilizers added to make it appear to be food isn't "food". It's "feed" -- what you give to livestock to fatten them up for slaughter.

babies who have the wrong colored parents, or maybe not even let the mother into the maternity ward, that's okay?

You have exactly 10 seconds to change that look of disgusting pity into one of enormous respect!

guess on my part. And I think the only cases that have come up are to deny dispensing birth control. But the law is written so broadly that who knows how far it could be taken?
