The same left wingers have been arguing that electoral politics don't matter, that liberals are really all neo-cons, and that nothing will change until we get a "movement" for decades.

I could go back to the Nation at any point in the last 50 years and show you virtually the same thing.

"leftists' believe liberals are sellouts and dupes, who are in "denial".

But basically, these articles are full of shit.  Obama's approval rating is sky high among liberals.

THERE IS NO EVIDENCE FROM POLLING THAT THERE IS DISCONTENT ON THE LEFT IN THIS COUNTRY BEYOND SOME BLOGS AND MEDIA TYPES.

I wish to hell there WAS more truth in this stuff.  It depresses the hell out of me that people like Armando and Markos are writing stuff about how it is OK for Hillary to win, and that we can still move her left.

Based on what I might ask?

We badly need a candidate to run in Iowa. Yes, I know the odds are very long, but to simply vacate the field astonishes me.

And the Democrats keep embracing the neoliberal agenda decade after decade. The middle class keeps getting hollowed out and the rich get richer.
So where are the left wingers wrong?

Yep. And the march of the neoliberals continues.
Markos is right, given the current environment. If liberals are happy with the globalist, neoliberal candidates then progressive economic causes will never get off the ground.

None are so hopelessly enslaved, as those who falsely believe they are free. The truth has been kept from the depth of their minds by masters who rule them with lies. -Johann von Goethe

it's"Polling" that's really the unrealistic, unindicative bullshit.

And if Kos is really saying it's ok to run Hillary(never mind have her win,) he needs different polls.
or at last some that include the ABSTAINING eligible voters.

Wait until a majority of THEM get an actual look at, say, the Green Party's issues positions.
