  •  Prove it (0+ / 0-)

You make an extraordinary claim.  Now back it up.

    •  Julius and Ethel Rosenberg say hello (0+ / 0-)

from the grave (they spied for the Soviet Union in the early 1950s). Julius was guilty but Ethel's involvement was ambiguous to say the least. Didn't matter, she got the electric chair too. The presidents back in that era were WAY more hardline about national security than Obama is now, it's not even close

      •  Correction, Ethel was accused of spying (0+ / 0-)

        for the Soviets

      •  What? (1+ / 0-)

You cite one case under Truman.  Your claim was much broader than that.  Furthermore, the Rosenbergs case was very different than Snowden's.  They were found to have spied against the US on behalf of Russia.  Snowden has not spied, nor has he been accused of spying.  So, the Rosenberg case is inapposite.  Please provide evidence of cases similar to Snowden's publicly disclosing classified information to the press, not to the nation's enemies, or retract your irresponsible claim.
