  •  By the by - I'm just wondering if you (0+ / 0-)

believe Israelis living inside the pre 1967 borders of Israel have a right to self-determination despite the ethnic cleansing of 650,000  native Palestinians.

I do.  I'm just wondering what your view is.

of those who lived within the internationally agreed borders (which I accept were subject to mutually agreed transfers) set up by the UN in 1948 and their descendants.

I personally think the British ideas in the 1940s of divvying up land masses when they gave up negotiations and were forced to withdraw before completion by US "decolonization" imperatives were gross mistakes. (In fact they were parodied in an Ealing Comedy a few years later). Palestine and India are the two prime examples where it has led to decades of fighting and injustice, not to say millions of deaths.

      •  So those living in the third of Israel between (0+ / 0-)

the UN borders and the pre-67 borders...?

You essentially did not answer the question.

Whenever I forget what Lib Dems are, you remind me with some rant about how the UK backed out of the territories it stole and brutally exploited too quickly.
