    Maybe it was, but OFA existed in 2010 and, at best, only made things somewhat less terrible.

      I'm not asking for the President to be able to campaign for candidates, just the officially non-affiliated group to be of some use for candidates from the President's Party.

      The Republican Party isn't a party of small government, it's a party of a government for the few. @bhindepmo

      They decommissioned it to rebuild it for 2012.

      Supposedly the databases will by contrast be up and running again in 2014.

      We'll see if that's true. If so though makes sense that they'd keep their powder dry by not rolling it out in a special election so the Koch bros can see what they got.
