    a white woman, for the reason you cite; an authoritarian whose authority was undermined by the truth of her mistake.

    I think there's insufficient data to ascertain racism, but I agree  with the others that there's likely more than enough to make a working assumption of it.

      from her behavior after the GZ verdict. She lost, yet was smug, gloated, congratulated her staff like they had won an Oscar. She said justice was served with no empathy whatsoever for the victim. People with unconscious and conscious racism have trouble seeing Black people as full human beings and empathizing with them. (research has shown this).

      Simply put, it was unjust that TM died. Even IF GZ was legally not a murderer, even IF it went down as he said (I don' t think it did), it was not just.

      So then, we put her behavior and choices in the  GZ case with this one...
