If Stalin had only allowed Pepsi and GM to put up low-wage unregulated factories in Minsk, the entire Cold War would never have happened.

As our wet sloppy kisses to China show, we don't really give a flying fuck if you are a single-party police state that murders your own people--as long as we are allowed to make a few bucks there.

    •  This sentence (0+ / 0-)

is so ignorant it is hard to describe:
"If Stalin had only allowed Pepsi and GM to put up low-wage unregulated factories in Minsk, the entire Cold War would never have happened.'

It ignores who Stalin was, and what the Soviet Union was.

      •  and China is different how, again . . . . ? (0+ / 0-)

Shall I list all the tinhorn dictators who murdered and tortured their own people that the US not only supported and propped up, but shipped guns to so they could defend themselves against their own people . . . . ?

In the end, reality always wins.
